Description from NP site: Very siked to get a chance to release something by our western Mass. friends Sore Eros, a great live band thats even better on record and always pushing the limits of their sound and song writing. A band truly doing their own thing in a time of much retro posturing. The articulation of their sound and approach is always interesting because it embodies so many sources of potential influence and sound language. At times folky, sometimes rocking, always seeping with dreamy atmosphere and warm psychedelic melody their representation of pop music radiates, resonates, and sparkles like big sun on syrupy water. This cassette is very well recorded and even professionally mastered. One of the finest NP releases thus far.

SORE EROS SXSW TOUR 2011

Sore Eros is heading to SXSW this year. We still have a few gaps in our tour that we could use help filling. Please take a look to see if you could lend a hand in helping us a book a show. And if we are playing a town near you, please come check us out!

March 12th- Looking for a show in either Harrisonburg, VA or Richmond VA

March 13th- Asheville, NC @ MoDaddy's

March 14th- Oxford, MS @ Proud Larry's (w/ Dom, Wiseblood)

March 15th- Our Baton Rouge, LA show got cancelled so we are looking for something in BR or New Orleans possibly..

March 16th- SXSW- Evening show at the Light Bar (set times TBA)

March 17th- SXSW- New Guild Coop 3pm, + we are looking for a night show

March 18th- SXSW- (We have no shows booked, please let us know if you want us to play)!

March 19th- SXSW- We have nothing in the day time, but will be playing an acoustic set after midnight @ 1112 E 6th

March 20th- SXSW- Cheer Up Charlie's (12 pm) + End of Ear Instore show (3pm)

March 22nd- We will be in Nashville, TN- Would like to play a show in the area if possible.

March 23rd- Indianapolis, IN @ Midwest Museum of Contemporary Art (8pm)

March 24th- Would be willing to play a show in Ohio/Pittsburgh area.

SXSW

SORE EROS WILL BE GOING TO SXSW THIS YEAR.

We would love to play anything there, so if you are putting on a

showcase/houseshow/bbq, etc...please feel free to contact

RRobinson1980@gmail.com for booking. Also we are planning on playing shows

along the way there and on the way back, cities we are interested in playing-

Baltimore, Ashville NC, New Orleans, Memphis, St. Louis, Chicago, Bloomington IN,

Columbus OH, Poughkeepsie NY, or anywhere between! March 10th-25th ish are the dates.
